Boston Share Network: Our Mission/Our Programs and Advocacy

Boston Share Network has been advocating for Everyone Needs ID legislation to help the homeless get access to state IDs so that they can apply for jobs, housing, educational opportunities, and to gain access to essential services.  The legislative action day is a way to advocate for this bill and other legislation to help the homeless.  The sign-up links allow you to access additional information about the event and resources and training to help make your advocacy effective.

Legislative Action Day sponsored by the Massachusetts Coalition for the Homeless

Legislative Action Day (LAD) is the Coalition's annual event organized in the Massachusetts State House Great Hall of Flags. A morning spent where community members, advocates, and legislators unite to address homelessness and housing instability. The day features educational sessions, impactful speeches, and meetings with state legislators to push forward legislative priorities aimed at providing solutions for those affected by homelessness.
